Ana Belén is an architect and founding partner of Mostaza Design.

She likes new challenges and finding ways to address them, being up to date, theorizing about design, opening new fronts and planning space layouts. One aspect that makes her enjoy more her work is collaborating with clients and other professionals, which helps to bring about profitable projects, born from the union of professionals and dialog. Her main task is the customer relationship, strategy, project management and space layout planning.

She studied architecture at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and completed a Master of Research in Image, Advertising and Corporate Identity at the UCJC. She has over 15 years of experience in the management and development of retail projects. Ana Belén began her professional career at Telefónica, where she was devoted to the group’s Project Development: offices, international control centers and call centers in Spain, Italy and Latin America; later she worked at Addison Spain, a multinational company dedicated to Corporate Identity Projects for Major Accounts, in which she developed her skills as a corporate image project architect for companies such as: Autogril, Grupo Zena, Grupo EatOut, Moda en Casa, El Corte Inglés and Neinver.

Currently, she is also professor of Projects and Public Spaces at ESNE – Escuela de Diseño de Madrid and lecturer at the MDAI (Master of Interior Design at the UPM), and is working on her PhD in Commercial Spaces Design.

Angélica is an interior designer and has collaborated on a continuous basis with Mostaza Design for six years now.

She is responsible for the concept creation and project development, such as Dufry and The Brand Union. She is a competent and responsible designer, and shows a very positive and problem-solving attitude in the face of adversity, which facilitates teamwork.

Born in Mexico, she began her professional experience 8 years ago in Sogecable designing 2D and 3D stage settings and scenography proposals for TV shows. She has worked at Asmer Interiors, where she guided the interior decorative proposals for the customer and managed the purchase orders of materials, furniture and lighting, and at Global Events ID, where she designed 2D and 3D proposals for stage settings, scenography and stands for events and fairs, and produced the detail and construction drawings for them.

In addition, Angélica specializes in Feng Shui, and applies this knowledge within businesses, shops and offices, helping to create an optimum work environment that promotes productivity and welfare for its employees, thus contributing to the success of any company.

She is an interior designer and a senior technician in decorative works projects and management.

She collaborates with Mostaza Design developing execution projects, as well as in the project management and direction.

She has great knowledge in chain implementation and masters the construction details of joinery furniture, showing great professionalism in dealing with suppliers.

She began her career a decade ago in the “Crear Hogar” (Creating Home) department of El Corte Inglés department store. For 4 years, she worked for the company J.L. Decoración, as responsible for project management and planning at major retail chains such as Misako. She later started her own business and worked for different companies such as Albicius, where she took over the store design, corporate branding and advertising, and Ángel López Moreno, where she developed the design of furniture and kitchens.

Architect by ETSAM, she finished the career in 2011 and since then she has worked in several languages and countries, collaborating with companies such as BOD Arquitectura e Ingeniería, Papadopoulous GmbH, Fudan Design Institute or ACXT.

She has design and construction experience in various areas, such as offices, work media centers, car dealers, airports, hospitals, sports centers, stadiums, university study centers or landscaping. In retail projects he has experience working for companies such as BMW, KIA or BBVA, developing exhibition and office spaces.

María has a degree in Fine Arts and has been collaborating as a computer graphics designer from the beginnings of the company.

After more than 8 years participating in many projects, she has made it clear that the quality of her work, together with her promptness and efficiency, have made her become indispensable at Mostaza Design.

For almost ten years, she worked at Pantalla Interactiva in the 3D modeling department, and as artistic director in animated films for rear projection in theater plays. It was in 2006 when she set up on her own, creating her own company called Muchopixel.

Ever since, she has focused her work on producing 3D visualization and collaborates with several companies in projects of architectural design, interior design, museums, events, virtual television sets and virtual rear projection theater sets.

David is an illustrator and regular contributor at Mostaza Design. He has been involved in many projects such as DaNicola, Fund Grube, Dufry, Macedonia Fruit Café or Vino y Compañía, making illustrations and designing graphic identity.

With over 20 years of experience, his illustrations have been published in several magazines and newspapers, both Spanish and international (including El País Semanal, Quo, The Economist, Siete Leguas – El Mundo, Focus, Training & Development Digest).He has collaborated with various agencies and design studios in advertising campaigns for all types of customers (including Volkswagen, Whisky DYC, American Express, Canal +, Movistar, Mahou, Pullmantur).In addition to illustration, David has designed book covers and collections for various publishers (such as Everest and Walt Disney Company).

He has received several international awards and recognitions such as Communication Arts, 3 × 3 Illustration Annual, Society of Illustrators NY, Spectrum Fantastic Art, Applied Arts and The Society for News Design (SND), among others. He has recently been invited by the publishing house TASCHEN to appear in the next volume of “Illustration Now!”

She is an architect, collaborating with Mostaza Design in construction projects.Her mission consists in legalizing and conducting technical projects, such as in the premise Q’Deleite in Madrid and the building for the international Dental Clinic in Tangiers.

Marta is partner of 7tres architects, a studio dedicated to project drafting, technical documentation, and construction management of residential buildings and tertiary applications. On the other hand, she has an extensive experience in projects for public administrations, companies and individuals throughout the Spanish geography. From 2011, she undertook the technical project of reconditioning and premise activities for the Yves Rocher shop.

She started her professional career in 2000 collaborating with different studios such as Arquitectura Alpaban sl. and MTM (studio architect partners: Javier Sanjuán and Javier Fresneda).

Her presence was fundamental during the birth and the first two years of Mostaza Design. Astrid is an interior designer and from the beginning she was an active part of the company, since then she has collaborated in different projects such as a! de Acosta, Restaurante Carpaccio, Ciconia and Fushioko.

She studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Madrid. With over twenty years of experience, she has been guiding her steps towards the ecodesign, as a new professional response. This advocate of sustainable design has a studio dedicated to promote the use of recyclable and renewable resources in the construction and finishing steps, prioritizing the preservation and reuse of existing materials, as well as the creation of inhabitable environments that are environmentally renewable. She anticipates the current Spanish trends through the knowledge she obtains from international market research, so that she can apply it in our country, and from where Mostaza Design takes as reference in various initiatives, leaving an open door to another way to “live and understand” design.

He has been working with 3D and video for more than 10 years and has been collaborating with Mostaza Design for the past two years as computer graphics designer.

Throughout his career, he has worked in different companies as video editor and post-producer, and in the 3D field as animator and modeler. He has combined all this with his teaching work in the field of video post-production at some of the most important academies in the industry, such as Cice, Trazos and Lightbox Academy, in which he is currently in charge of teaching Nuke in the VFX master.

Studied Interior and Furniture design in University College Suffolk, UK, graduating in 1985. Andy then spent more than 10 years working in London in different Design Consultancies on a varied portfolio of projects that included Shopping Centres in the UK and France, Retail Banking, Department stores and restaurant chains.

In 1996 Andy moved to Madrid to take up a position with John Ryan International as Leader of Design Development, working on Retail Banking projects in the UK, South Africa, Germany and Italy. He then worked with EMA where he worked with clients such as Koçbank, Turkey; AENA, Aldeasa, Rodilla and Deutsche Bank. He subsequently worked with Addison España and during 7 years worked with clients that included Aldeasa, Iberia, BBVA and Autogrill.

Since 2011 Andy has worked independently, collaborating with Design agencies in Spain and the UK on projects in Spain, the UK and the Middle East.

Oscar is an architect with a degree in ETSAM and has also completed his Masters in Building Structures by ETSAM.

Collaborates for more than 4 years with Mostaza Design being responsible for the calculation of structures of the study.

Lucia is a translator and has been collaborating with Mostaza Design for the past four years.

She is responsible for the translation of projects submitted to customers worldwide. Born in Mexico, she also has an engineering degree in biotechnology and has worked in food companies in the technical and commercial areas, an experience she combined with her knowledge of languages to become a proficient and responsible freelance professional translator in these areas.

The lighting design of the Mostaza Design projects is done by Juan Luis who is a lighting consultant and partner with Con Luz Propia.

The mission of this light designer is to integrate lighting as an element that contributes to the own and unique identity of each project, and to control every step until the end, when everything is properly located.

Twenty years of experience and more than 1.000 lighting projects make him an expert in the field. He works with prestigious architecture and interior design studios, both domestic and international, notably with Rafael de la Hoz, Estudio Lamela – Rogers, Rafael Moneo, Rafael Urculo, Touza & Asoc., + Starck, Acero, etc., always performing the function of an external lighting consultant.
On the other hand, this professional provides his services to major business groups such as Grupo Vips, El Corte Inglés, Carrefour, Benneton, Autogrill, Ferrovial, Real Madrid, etc.; and has also participated in initiatives such as Ciudad de las Comunicaciones, Bank of Santander, Archbishopric of Madrid, Meliá Group, NH Hoteles, Museo del Prado, Museo Reina Sofía, Museo del Traje, among others.

With a long career, he still hopes to learn from each one of the initiatives in which he becomes involved and to improve in the different phases having place during the execution of each project.
